What is Raising Arrows Academy?
Raising Arrows Academy is a pay by class homeschool program for 9th through 12th grade students. It employs a university model where students may take all courses offered or select only what they need. Students attend in person instruction one day per week and spend the remaining days of the week completing assignments and studying at home. Courses offered in this program are credit worthy high school level courses.

Facts and Fundamentals
- All families are responsible for reading and abiding by the Raising Arrows Academy Handbook.
- Classes are held at Ashland Church 700 S. Keeneland Dr. Richmond, KY 40475.
- Classes are held on Wednesdays from 8:15 - 2:05.
- All families must complete a parent interview with Raising Arrows Co-op/Academy leadership prior to first time registration. This will be scheduled upon request.
- All families must have a Homeschool Letter of Intent filed with the Board of Education.
- This is a homeschool program. We only meet 1 time per week. Parents are still responsible for helping with homework and keeping their student on task throughout the week.
- If a student has a free class period, they may only remain in the building if they take a study hall. Study halls will be offered for students who have a block of time between classes. This should be viewed as a quiet time to get homework done.
- Raising Arrows Academy is an unaccredited program which means it is not approved by the KY Board of Education. The Academy is in no way responsible for guaranteeing the State of KY or higher education institutions will determine its classes as a sufficient standard.
- Course fees are for the entire academic year. Course fees do not include textbooks/curriculum, or other required notebooks and supplies required for the course. See the course materials list for required course materials (to be posted in May).
- Once payments are received, the Academy will not issue refunds for any reason other than insufficient enrollment. We base what courses we offer on family commitments at registration.
- Mid-term and end of semester grade reports are given throughout the year, but the Academy does not keep these records. The homeschool family of record is responsible for tracking grades and building transcripts.
- If your student wants to take advantage of as many course offerings as possible, we recommend considering the Recommended Course Sequence Sheet.
- If you plan to attend the Academy for the 2025-2026 school year, your family should attend Info Night.
